The Tree House Early Childhood Centre Graduation

On the 9th of December 41 children graduated from the Tree House in preparation for their next journey in life, going to school. We have every confidence that these children are well prepared and equipped to continue to play, learn and grow. All the best to the class of 2011. |

Grandparents Morning Tea

Grandparents have always played a valuable role in our society by offering care, love and guidance to their children and grandchildren. On Sunday 30 October 2011, the NSW Government and Clubs NSW officially recognised this contribution with the inaugural Grandparents Day. |

Teddy Bears Picnic

A ‘beary nice’ nice morning in the Preschool with an evident air of excitement because ‘today’s the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic’!
The children enjoyed a delightful picnic lunch outdoors today in which we shared some popular vegemite and cheese sandwiches with our cuddly friends. |

Dr. Rabbit
Friday 14 October
Today we had our much awaited visit from Dr. Rabbit. This was a wonderful and educationally rich experience which had us revising our awareness and understanding of important dental hygiene concepts. |

Museum In A Box
Tuesday 11 October
A ‘Museum in a Box’ treasure chest recently arrived from the Australian Museum containing a wealth of information, resources and ‘interest generating materials’ for the Preschool children to explore. |

Red Nose Day
Saturday 4 August
Children at The Tree House celebrated ‘Red Nose Day’ today. The children made a special effort to wear items of red clothing and accessories in addition to the ever popular red noses that they purchased from reception. |

Koomurri Performers
Friday 20 July
This morning the Pre-school and Kindy were fortunate to have a visit from the Koomurri performers. The children were engrossed in the presentation and were keen to know more about Aboriginal Culture. We were very interested to note that there are over 600 hundred ways to say hello in various Aboriginal dialects! |
